International Culture and Technology Strategist
Jie-Song Zhang was born in Beijing, China, in the Year of the Monkey, later immigrating to the United States where he was raised and educated.
As an International Culture and Technology Strategist, Jie-Song's work includes helping to craft Google’s first ever international panel discussion series on race. In addition to having recently worked as a political strategist in Latin America, Jie-Song is currently building a creative and tech production infrastructure in the region meant to coordinate communities of Lat Am talent and connect them with the rest of the world. In the past two years alone, he has worked projects ranging from the water industry in Iceland to educational technology in Nigeria, music/art in France to communications for startups in Australia. Jie-Song has designed and directed sizable undertakings across 5 continents of this earth, drinking short or tall coffees and sitting with equal comfort in rooms of Chinese underground rappers or American VCs, Mexican hactivists or Malaysian royal family members, alike.
