Elizabeth has been working in the social impact consulting space for more than a decade. She has been working with Tembo since 2016, providing management, research and operational support across a number of client engagements. Previously, she was the Director of Strategy and Partnerships at Aldeia Works, a boutique consulting firm supporting people and organizations seeking to create meaningful social impact. She helped lead many of their client engagements, including the start-up of the Elisa Sednaoui Foundation and the design and launch of the Beacon Institute at Ernst & Young. Prior to that, she was a Partnerships Officer and Project Development Manager at Purpose.com, a creative agency providing strategy consulting for organizations addressing social and environmental challenges. At Purpose, Elizabeth developed “soup to nuts” strategies, served as the in-house writer, and coordinated the engagement of leadership in new business development. She earned her Masters of Science in Global Affairs from New York University, where she specialized in International Relations and Human Rights. She lived in both Cairo and Alexandria, Egypt while studying Arabic and Arabic Studies at Michigan State University.
